Blood orange maple pecan yogurt bowls make a delicious and uniquely flavored, lightly sweet breakfast for any day of the week. They're quick and easy to make, hearty and delicious to eat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (I use 2% or whole milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Juice of 1/2 blood orange
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 blood oranges, peeled and divided into segments
  • 1/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together yogurt, vanilla extract, juice of blood orange, and maple syrup until uniformly combined. Divide into two bowls.
  2. Roughly chop orange segments (I just cut eat in half or thirds, depending on size). Divide between both bowls.
  3. Divide pecan pieces and dried cranberries between bowls. Drizzle with more maple syrup if desired.

Notes

*Feel free to sub dairy yogurt for non-dairy yogurt, such as almond or coconut yogurt.

*Add extra toppings if desired! Granola, chia seeds, coconut flakes. Whatever you think would taste good 🙂
