Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 1 cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh tender herbs (include dill + any others, see notes)
- Scant 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more to taste, if needed)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine. In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Stir and serve. Stir until evenly mixed together, and taste test to see if it needs more salt to your taste. Once you've perfected it, serve the sauce on the side of any meal for dipping, (or dollop on top), spread onto pitas for sandwiches, or use as a sauce for bowl recipes or veggie salads.

- Tender herbs. These might include mint, basil, cilantro, parsley, chives, or tarragon. Any combination will be delicious—just use what you have or can easily find!
- Garlic. I tend to leave garlic out because I'm sensitive to it, but I love the flavor. If you're also a garlic lover, feel free to grate up a clove and stir it in as well!
- Storage instructions. Store herbed dill yogurt sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. If I'm meal prepping this sauce, I make it directly in the container I'll be storing it in. Fewer dirty dishes, yay!
